Frequently asked questions

What is Her Cycle Compass?

Her Cycle Compass is a cycle-awareness and partner-support application. It helps people check in with how they feel, see cycle context, look ahead with flexible estimates, and share selected information with someone they trust when they choose to. Learn more on the homepage.

Is it available yet?

Her Cycle Compass is a functioning product under active development and early testing. It is not represented here as generally available in the App Store or Play Store. If you want to be considered for testing, use early access on the homepage.

How does partner sharing work?

Sharing is intentional and user-initiated. You send a partner-safe snapshot — for example a viewer link, a small summary file, or copied text. It is not live remote monitoring. Pairing and relay features remain under active work and are not presented as a finished cloud pairing product. See Partners.

Does a partner see everything?

No. Partner-safe summaries include only what you choose to share. Private notes and full check-in history are not included. Details are on the Privacy page.

Does Her Cycle Compass work with Apple Health or Health Connect?

Optionally, on supported platforms. With permission, Her Cycle Compass can read menstrual-flow history from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) to help estimate cycle timing. If you separately allow write access, menstrual events you explicitly log in the app can also be saved to your health store. Predicted periods and inferred cycle phases are never written. Without health-store access — or if access is later revoked — local menstrual logging and manual cycle details still work.

What if forecast information does not match how I feel?

Forecasts are flexible context, not biological certainty. Trust how you feel. The app is meant to support awareness — not to override your experience when an estimate and your day disagree.

Is Her Cycle Compass medical advice?

No. Her Cycle Compass provides cycle-awareness and partner-support context. It does not diagnose medical conditions or replace advice from a qualified professional. If something feels wrong, seek appropriate care.

How do I report a problem?

Email support@hercyclecompass.com with your device model, system version, and a short description of what you tried. Screenshots help — omit private notes you do not want us to see.

How can I participate in testing?

Share testing interest via the early access form (name, email, optional role). That expresses interest in early testing — it is not a purchase or a download of a generally released app. You can also email support@hercyclecompass.com.
